Summa Health Behavioral Health Pavilion

Summa Health relocated its behavioral health facilities from a remote location to its main campus to increase communications and improve the patient experience. The goal was a warm and welcoming space for inpatients, outpatients, and visitors alike. Using curved elements and natural materials helped to bring a sense of calm to a healthcare setting that sometimes is anything but. By using Kirlin’s LRV-06121 ligature- and vandal-resistant downlights, the designers ensured a hospitality feel while keeping patients safe in the main social spaces as well as the private patient rooms.
