Gates Chili High School

In late 2020, Kirlin introduced a new, improved version of our Symphony remote driver system with enhanced dimming to black and RDM-compatible DMX power supplies. Perfectly suited to theatrical house lighting, the new system was selected for this project with the Gates Chili School District near Rochester, New York.

Our 5000-lumen, 7″ adjustable downlights (SRR-07612) illuminate the audience from a high ceiling mount, but the power supplies are conveniently located in an accessible AV closet. This enables hassle-free installation and maintenance of the system while providing enhanced educational opportunities for the “tech crew” students, who get a front-row seat into what goes into creating effective lighting in a theatrical environment.
