Connecticut Children’s Medical Center

Clinicians at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center’s new clinical tower are here to support patients from the first moments of life to childhood and beyond with the latest innovations in healthcare. We are proud to have had the opportunity to work on a creative solution to equip their NICUs with premier exam lighting and warming lights.  

By pairing the PRO 25 light engine with the trim and motorized gimbal assembly from the INFRALED PRO 45, we took a hybrid approach to provide clinicians with the output and tilt angles needed to illuminate the patient perfectly, without ceiling obstructions getting in the way.   

To make sure babies are comfortable during bath time, each NICU room also includes a 9″ warming light above the sink, adding warmth where it matters during routine tasks. 

This project is a good example of how small adjustments in output, optics, and aiming can make a real difference in neonatal care, supporting both patient safety and staff performance. A huge thank you to Cannon Design for working with us on this amazing project!
