Methodist Hospital Texsan MRI

The new MRI Center at Methodist Hospital Texsan was illuminated using a full suite of Kirlin’s SmartLED MRI solutions. The design features a 4′ x 8′ scenic panel array (image LND08 from our catalog – a beautiful sunset) that transports patients into a calming environment, paired with IP65-rated 8″ downlights (MRR-08428) for reliable, MRI-safe illumination.

The centerpiece is an 8′ x 16′ installation of RGBW color-changing slot (MRL-02CCM), shown here on our “Princess” scene, filling the space with a vibrant magenta glow. This dynamic feature is powered by Kirlin’s MRI-DMXPS control system, which includes a pre-programmed DMX wall station, MRI filters, power supplies, and plug-and-play RJ45 distribution boxes. The result: seamless color transitions that can adapt in real time during scans—helping create a more comfortable, patient-centered imaging experience.
